Interactive formation, the new challenge.
The agreement reached between Interattiva and the Valle d'Aosta Consortium concerns the activation of formation courses in DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) in Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta Regions. The project, which addresses different categories of potential interlocutors - such as private entities , companies and public administration – upholds the growing spread of an effective e-learning culture in Italy. The current remote formation makes use of digital technology and dedicated channels not just for the broadcasting of course materials but also for the development of a cooperative learning process in which skills are actively developed by participants themselves, while interaction with teachers and students plays a fundamental role. Remote formation offers several advantages in comparison with traditional training, first of all the chance to reach a wide number of users regardless of his or her physical location thus ensuring a sensible saving in terms of time and cost. The personalization of the training period according to individual's needs is a further opportunity and contributes to a high level education offer able to stimulate user's motivation and attention.

Interattiva launches the new management training platform via DTT
Activating remote formation courses through new digital TV is nowadays a simple and immediate process. Thanks to the platform created by Interattiva, it's possible to manage FTA remote formation projects in a complete and intuitive way. The system offers all the necessary instruments in order to manage a remote formation course by fully exploiting digital TV interactivity. The absolute flexibility of this instrument enables to coordinate one or more courses at the same time, characterized by a diverse complexity and carried out ad hoc according to client specifications. By means of simple interfaces, it's possible to outline course in lessons and modules, including contents of lessons subjects and introducing teachers and lessons programme. Moreover, the platform allows for the assessment of the effective learning acquired by the individual student. Through the collection of tests answers it's possible to track the knowledge acquisition process, which it is the aim of the course. Finally it's possible to import data of vital statistics of users who are logged on to dedicated services, modify their profile and set access parameters. Reliability, innovation and effectiveness are the guarantees of Interattiva new platform.

Interattiva attending the first Valle D'Aosta Digital Consortium meeting
AOSTA. Ms Ilaria Stressa, president and chairperson of Interattiva, made her speech during the meeting organized by the Valle D'Aosta Digital Consortium on the subject “the current and future offer of DDT interactive services in Valle D'Aosta Region and Italy after its first switch off”. The meeting was held at Aosta Regional Palace and counted with the participation, among others, of Aurelio Marguerettaz (regional alderman for Finance and Innovation), Piero De Chiara of DGTVi (digital terrestrial television association), Piero Manera (president of Valle d'Aosta Digital Consortium), Andrea Ambrogetti (president of Sardinia Digital Consortium), Ilaria Spessa (President of Interattiva). The research results ordered by the “Makno and Consulting” Consortium were shown during the meeting and disclosed the 4,50 millions of households the DTT has reached thus equalling the current number of existing satellite TV subscriptions. The study further revealed that the digital terrestrial decoder is owned by the 62,5% households in Valle d'Aosta Region. The data of July 2007 have grown by 10 percentage points in one year. “We have finally overcome the first stage of experimentation of Rai2 and Rai4 switch off with no particular trouble – as the president of the Consortium Piero Manera pointed out – in Aosta municipality as well in the 16 neighbouring municipalities”. “Improving contents and interactivity is a necessary step – as the regional alderman of Finance and Innovation Aurelio Marguerattaz pointed out – the experimentation is on the right way: besides DTT contents, we shall also advance in plants structuring and, most important, the Ministry shall start the new frequency plan”.

Interattiva communication campaign for “Valle D'Aosta Digitale”
AOSTA. Interattiva has recently launched its communication campaign sponsored by Valle d'Aosta Digital Consortium to promote a citizens dedicated channel. The communication campaign, launched by means of TV advertisements and attachments, was created with the attempt to make local population aware of all services available on Valle d'Aosta Digitale interactive channel. The main local nets along with Rai Utile channel transmit information advertisement to show the access modalities and available services along with commercial advertisements to persuade citizens to use subscription free services. The attachments have been affixed in the most haunted places of the capital: the campaign was developed on the basis of notion of “recognizability” of the new TV by matching TV simple usage and the great potentialities allowed by digital technology. Besides running promotional campaign on mass media, Interattiva carried out the Consortium's web site and further produced a leaflet with all information about Valle d'Aosta digital channel to be distributed to citizens.
